A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations and achieving revenue targets within a specific geographic region as stipulated in your letter.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Management:
- Support in recruitment, training, and mentorship of sales representatives.
- Set performance goals and monitor achievements.
- Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance evaluation
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance and create action plans to address gaps.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with major clients.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Analyze sales data to inform strategic decisions.
- Report regional performance to senior management
- Market Expansion:
- Identify new markets and opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan promotional activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales within the automotive or related industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
- Strong understanding of the automotive market, including product knowledge and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
