Description

A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations and achieving revenue targets within a specific geographic region as stipulated in your letter.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Team Management:
  • Support in recruitment, training, and mentorship of sales representatives.
  • Set performance goals and monitor achievements.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance evaluation

 

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance and create action plans to address gaps.

 

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with major clients.

 

  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Analyze sales data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Report regional performance to senior management

 

  1. Market Expansion:
  • Identify new markets and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan promotional activities.

 

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales within the automotive or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive market, including product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
